There exist academic women’s associations within different fields and within different parts of the world. We list below a few whose focus is most similar to ours.
- The AEA’s Committee for the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP) was founded in 1971
- The Canadian Women Economists Committee (CWEC) was founded in 1990
- The Royal Economic Society Women’s Committee (RES) was founded in 1996
